I’m not sure who this is, but I believe he was part of the Tommie Turvey crew which performed at the covered arena at Kentucky Horse Park.
Tommy Turvey (Equine Extremist Entertainment) along with his bay tobiano Paint Horse "Poker Face Joe" (aka "Poker Joe") were back for a return Breyerfest engagement to entertain the crowd with his horses. This might even be Poker Joe in the photo, but I’m not sure..

These Texas Hold Em tricks can be correlated to almost any time but they make the most sense post-flop.
Texas Hold Em Tricks For Post-Flop Play #1
The first and foremost trick is to analyze and play the pot to its odds. This is easier said than done, but I’ll give you a few tips.
Calculate what is the best possible hand – the nuts. Figure out what other good hands your opponents are likely to have like sets, two-pairs. Figure out what your hand is and what is the best possible hand you could make (if you got the perfect turn and river cards).
Once you have all this you will have a much better indication of where you stand.
Texas Hold Em Tricks For Post-Flop Play #2
A cool trick I often use to land a great hand is I play small pocket pairs and see the flop. If you hit the flop continue to play. If you don’t hit then please fold – don’t go chasing the turn and river.

Middle-suited connectors are also good hands to play. How you play these post-flop is you need to have hit either a straight draw or a flush draw. Both would be great but not likely. You need at least four cards of the straight or four cards of the flush or else you should fold. Sometimes you’ll hit it on the flop, although this isn’t often.
Texas Hold Em Tricks For Post-Flop Play #4
Firing another bullet can often be worthwhile. Instead of checking when you are aiming for a draw, fire off another bet. Sometimes your opponents fold and if you do get your card you’ll win a lot more.
Texas Hold Em Tricks For Post-Flop Play #5
This last point isn’t so much a trick but a tip. You really need to be fitting or folding on the flop. If you haven’t got good cards, or don’t have a viable plan for playing without anything (like you are going for a flush draw) then you must fold. Don’t continue playing with nothing.
You are probably realizing that there is a lot more you could be doing in your post-flop play to increase your winnings. You are most likely aware of how all these tips and tricks fit in with your own game and how you could use them.
The thing is, you will never become an outstanding poker player without the correct knowledge. If you are not currently making the money you would like from poker then I urge you to continue finding and learning new information on how to play poker so that you too can become a successful poker player.
